(1) Every organization or association shall convene the preliminary general meeting within three months from the date of registration.
(2) In the event that the preliminary general meeting is not convened according to sub-rule (1), if any member submits an application to the registrar to convene such a meeting or even if no such application is submitted, the registrar or a person appointed by him may convene such a meeting within 35 days from the date of expiry of the period specified in sub-rule (1).< br> (3) If 50 percent of the total number of members of the organization or association are present, the quorum will be considered to be reached to conduct the initial general meeting.
(4) The preliminary general meeting shall perform the following functions:-

(a) To elect the chairman of the meeting.
(B) To get information about the activities of the organization or association up to the previous day.
(c) To discuss and give instructions on the preliminary report presented in the assembly (d) Election of the committee as specified in the regulations.
