Rule 24
Procedures for providing incentives, discounts, benefits or concessions
(1) In order to receive incentives, exemptions, facilities or concessions in accordance with Section 33 of the Act, the industry shall submit an application to the industry registration body by attaching the following documents and details:-
(a) Copy of industry registration certificate, (b) details regarding demand for incentives, discounts, facilities or concessions, (c) copy of tax payment and audit report of the previous financial year,
(d) Approved Commercial Scheme of the High Commission for Recommendation of Concession on Import of Raw Materials: Copy of (Scheme),
(e) Recommendation letter from the concerned office in case of application registered in the Domestic and Small Industries Office (f) Copy of commercial bill of lading and customs declaration for export-promotion,
(g) Details of self-declaration for export incentives,
(h) Copy of EXIM Code in case of export industries,
(i) Other documents requested by the higher registration body after deciding according to the nature of the incentive, discount, facility or concession.
(2) Notwithstanding anything written in sub-rule (1), if the documents or details to be submitted according to that sub-rule are up-to-date with the industry registration body, such documents or details shall not be re-submitted. (3) If, upon examining the application received according to sub-rule (1), it is deemed necessary to provide exemptions, facilities or concessions, the industry registration body shall provide incentives, exemptions, facilities or concessions to such industries through a single point service center.
(4) Records of incentives, discounts, facilities or concessions provided in accordance with sub-rule (3) shall be kept by the industry registration body.
