: (1) The educational qualification required for promotion to military miscellaneous service post shall be as mentioned in clause (c) of sub-rule (1) of rule 13.
(2) In order to be promoted to the position of Chief of Accounts Group and above, one must have passed at least Master's degree in Commerce, Management, Economics or Business Administration from a recognized educational institution.
(3) Notwithstanding anything written in sub-rule (2), in the case of an officer working in the position of chief soldier or above in the accounting group at the time of commencement of this rule, even if he has not passed the master's degree, there will be no hindrance to promotion to a higher position for four years from the date of commencement of this rule.
(4) In order to be promoted to the post of sub-commissioned officer of the endowment work group, one must have passed at least S.L.C or equivalent. However, from the date of commencement of this regulation, for five years, S.L.C. Even though they have not passed the same, they will not be hindered from being promoted to a higher position.
