Section 6
Verification of statement
: (1) If the victim has filed a complaint as per Section 5, the police office shall immediately make his statement and bring him to the nearest district court to verify such statement.
(2) If the police office brings a statement to be verified in accordance with sub-section (1), regardless of what is written in the prevailing law, and even if the offense related to that statement does not fall within the jurisdiction of that district court, the judge of such district court reads the statement to him and if it is written according to what he says, the same If it is not according to the practice and what is the difference, then the practice should be mentioned and proved.
(3) If the statement is certified according to sub-section (2), the court may accept the statement so certified as evidence, even if the victim is not present in the court during the proceedings of the case.
