Rule 13
Keeping the price list of goods or services
: (1) The seller shall keep the price list including tax and other charges of each item or service he sells and distributes in a way that is clearly visible and understandable at the place of sale and distribution.
(2) Notwithstanding anything contained in sub-rule (1), it shall not be necessary to maintain a separate price list in the following cases:-
(a) where the price of such article is mentioned outside the packet of every article or container in which such article is kept,
(b) where price lists of goods or services are continuously displayed by electronic means,
(c) where more than one item is contained in a packet of an item and the unit price of the item is mentioned in such packet, or
(d. When the price list or menu of goods and services is kept.
(2) Notwithstanding anything contained in sub-rule (1), it shall not be necessary to maintain a separate price list in the following cases:-
(a) where the price of such article is mentioned outside the packet of every article or container in which such article is kept,
(b) where price lists of goods or services are continuously displayed by electronic means,
(c) where more than one item is contained in a packet of an item and the unit price of the item is mentioned in such packet, or
(d. When the price list or menu of goods and services is kept.
