: (1) The Government of Nepal may publish a notice in the Nepal Gazette and appoint an agency to prepare the standards for determining the prices of goods or services. In this way, when appointing the agency that prepares the standards related to pricing, such agency should also mention the price standards of which goods or services.
(2) When preparing standards related to price determination of goods or services, the body designated as per sub-rule (1) shall prepare standards for the price of such goods or services on the following basis in addition to the basis mentioned in Section 21 of the Act:- (a) International standards relating to price determination of goods or services Practice (International Best Practice),
(b) the level of the market for the good or service, and
(c) According to sub-rule (1) "Preparation of criteria related to pricing, the profit to be charged according to the nature of goods or services as prescribed by the body.
(3) In spite of anything written in sub-rule (2), when preparing criteria for determining the price of an item or service, the actual cost of such item or service shall include opportunity cost, donation, gift, penalty paid or to be paid by the businessperson, fine, damages and related The cost of other items unrelated to the production of the item should not be included in the price in such a way as to be different from the title or amount specified in the pricing criteria.
(4) In the event that the standard of the price of any goods or services is not determined according to sub-rule (2), the Ministry may prepare the standards related to the determination of the price of such goods or services in consultation with the concerned ministry.
(5) Regardless of what is written elsewhere in this rule, in the case of standards related to the price determination of goods or services made by the relevant government agency or public institution in accordance with the prevailing law, it shall be in accordance with the same.
