Rule 14
Qualification of Child Psychologist or Child Specialist
: 11) The qualification of a person who participates as a Child Psychologist or Child Specialist in Child Court shall be as follows :-
(a) Having obtained at least a bachelor's degree or a bachelor's degree in psychology from a recognized university or having obtained at least a bachelor's degree or a bachelor's degree in any subject from a recognized university and having received at least two months of training in child welfare or psychology,
(b) Not having been convicted of a criminal offense by the court.
(2) Notwithstanding anything written in clause (a) of sub-rule (1), if a person who has passed graduation level or equivalent is not available in the Himalayan district, to appoint a person who has passed at least certificate level and has received at least two months of training in child rights or psychology. There is no obstacle.
