Rule 11
If a person of age is also a defendant along with children
: (1) If a person who is of age is also a defendant in the said offense along with children who are being investigated for a criminal act, the prosecutor shall file an indictment in the juvenile court in the case of the child and proceed with such case according to the law prevailing in the case of the person of age. The indictment must be registered in the court having jurisdiction over proceedings, hearing and trial.
(2) Without the formation of a Juvenile Court, if a person who has reached the age of majority, including a child, is involved, and such person is also a defendant, in the case of a child who is accused of a crime, in the juvenile court, and in the case of a person who has reached the age of majority, the proceedings and hearing of the said case shall be in accordance with the prevailing law. (3) If, at the time of commencement of this Regulation, in any case under consideration in the District Court, if there is a defendant, including a child, from the Juvenile Court in the case of children, and from the Court of Juvenile Court in the case of an adult, the proceedings, hearing and trial of such case will be hindered in accordance with the prevailing law, no

(5) Notwithstanding anything written elsewhere in this regulation, the transfer of a case in which children are the only defendants to the trial court in any case pending in the district court or other body during the initial proceedings and settlement shall not be considered as an obstacle to the proceedings, trial and settlement of the case. However, the actions taken earlier will not be considered invalid or null and void just because of the soil transfer.
