(1) According to sub-section (2) of section 36 of the Act, if any study and research organization wants to study or research the dead body, it must submit an application to the Ministry.
(2) If the Ministry deems it necessary, it may hand over the dead body to the organization conducting the study as per sub-rule (1).
(3) The organization conducting the study according to sub-rule (1) shall submit a report to the Ministry regarding the achievements in the study of medical science through the use of abandoned corpses. However, if the results obtained from the study and research include matters related to intellectual property, the Ministry shall make necessary arrangements so that it is not encroached upon.
