Section 37
Classification of Banks or Financial Institutions
Based on the minimum paid-up capital of banks or financial institutions applying for banking and financial transactions according to Section 33 and the scope of business and operations conducted by such banks or financial institutions, the National Bank shall designate banks or financial institutions as "A", "B", According to classification in "C" or "D" category, corresponding license will be given to the concerned bank or financial institution. However, Infrastructure Development Bank will not be included in any category.
