Section 99
Penalties for violating bank regulations are
(1) If any commercial bank or financial institution that has received a license from the bank violates this Act or the rules or regulations made under this Act or the order or instructions issued by the Bank under the same, the Bank may impose a fine on such commercial bank or financial institution to the extent of the amount related to such violation. 2) In case of violation of the regulation of the bank as per sub-section (1) by the director, officer or employee of a commercial bank or financial institution, such fine shall be imposed on the director, officer or employee concerned.
