Section 3
Establishment of the bank
(1) A central bank named Nepal Rashtra Bank shall be established to perform the functions of the Central Bank. (2) The Nepal Rashtra Bank established under the Nepal Rashtra Bank Act, 2012 shall be deemed to have been established under this Act. (3) The Bank shall be a self-governing and organized institution with unbroken succession. (4) The bank shall have a separate seal for its operations. (5) The bank may make arrangements to acquire, enjoy, keep, sell and sell movable and immovable property subject to this Act. (6) The bank may make arrangements in its name. A cancellation complaint can be filed and a cancellation complaint can also be filed against the bank in the same name. It can open branches, sub-branches and other offices anywhere inside or outside and appoint agents or representatives.
