Rule 29
Other Work, Duties and Powers of the Board
In addition to the work, duties and powers mentioned in Section 39 of the Act, the work, duties and powers of the Board shall be as follows:-
(a) To carry out studies and research about opportunities and risks of foreign employment, (b) To broadcast and publish awareness programs related to foreign employment regularly through radio, television and newspapers, (c) To prepare and carry out worker's social security strategy and action plan (D) To establish and operate a safe house for the workers who have gone to foreign employment (e) To provide treatment and psychiatric counseling services to workers who have suffered physical or mental torture during foreign employment or who have returned home due to mental imbalance, if they wish to keep them in a safe house for a maximum of three months,
(f) Conducting or conducting safe houses, psychiatric counseling services and treatment programs in partnership or collaboration with governmental or non-governmental organizations.
