The purpose of the Board shall be as follows:-
(a) Provide necessary support to the Government of Nepal for formulation of policies related to dairy business at the national level and formulation of related development plans.
(B) To develop the dairy industry.
(c) To find solutions to problems arising in the field of animal development and animal health for dairy development.
(D) To establish harmony between all the private and government sector milk businessmen within the country.
(e) Conducting high-level study and research related to dairy development.
(f) To manage and arrange for grazing.
