(1) The period of validity of the bid shall be as mentioned in the documents related to the bid.
(2) The calculation of the period as per sub-section (1) shall start from the last date of submission of bids.
(3) Notwithstanding anything written in sub-section (1), if the public body needs to extend the validity period of the bids after opening the bids, it may extend the validity period of the bids according to the opening requirements.
(4) In case of extending the validity period of the bid according to sub-section (3), the approval of the concerned bidder shall be obtained. > (6) According to sub-section (4), the security of the bidder who does not give approval shall be returned.
