8. Arrangement of visas

8.1 Non-tourist visas will be granted to foreign investors or their authorized representatives and their dependents to stay in Nepal for the duration of the foreign investor's investment in the industry established with foreign investment.

8.2 Investment in Nepal Non-tourist visa of up to 6 months will be given to foreign investors who came to Nepal for the purpose of study and research. 8.3 If a foreign investor establishes an industry by investing more than US$200,000 in foreign currency at one time, a permanent residence visa will be provided for the foreign investor and his dependent family as long as the investment in the industry remains.
