Section 51
Non-Presentation for Payment
A negotiable instrument shall be deemed dishonored and presentation for payment shall not be necessary in the following cases:– (a) the drawee or acceptor or the drawee willfully obstructs the presentation of the negotiable instrument, or (b) for payment If the person to be paid or his agent is not present at the specified place, or (c) the person to be paid closes the office within the business hours on the day of the transaction, or (d) presents at a specified place If the relevant party is not found even after making every effort to present the exchangeable power of attorney that is not written to be done.
