Rule 4
Prepare and hand over land use area maps and details
(1) In accordance with sub-section (1) of section 4 of the Act, the Ministry of Land Use Zone Map of each local level for the purpose of sub-section (1) of Section 5 of the Act, in the land use areas classified on the basis of land use, capacity and suitability of land, existing 4 uses and needs of land. And the details should be prepared.
(2) While preparing the land use area map and its description in accordance with sub-rule (1), flood, landslide, river inundation, erosion, rain water, soil erosion, landslide, fire, pollution, industrial risk, risk of wild animals, electric transmission line may affect such land. Risks that may occur, risks that may occur from earthquakes and other possible risks should be analyzed and mapped.
(3) The land use area map and description prepared according to sub-rule (1) shall be handed over to the concerned local level and the record of such map shall also be kept in the department.
(4) The maps and details handed over according to sub-rule (3) shall be put to use by the concerned local level.
