(1) The Commission shall prepare the necessary copies of the voter list, considering the final voter list provided to the Commission by the Chief Name Registration Officer as the original voter list.
(2) Before preparing a copy of the electoral roll according to sub-rule (1), the Commission shall check whether any voter's name is duplicated in the electoral roll, and while checking whether there are duplicates, the concerned voter's name, surname, fingerprint, citizenship certificate, face in the electoral roll and Father's or mother's name can be taken as base.
(3) If it is found that a voter's name is duplicated during the check according to sub-rule (2), the Commission shall prepare a copy of the voter list by removing such duplicate name in accordance with sub-rule (6) of rule 24.
