Rule 38
Voter must be verified
(1) If a person whose name is registered in the voter list of a constituency wants to prove that he is a voter of that constituency, he must submit an application to the Commission, District Election Office or an officer authorized by the Commission with a fee of ten rupees or an equivalent postage stamp.
(2) If an application as per sub-rule (1) is received, the Commission, District Election Office or an officer authorized by the Commission shall verify the fact that the name of the person making such an application is in the electoral roll.
