(1) The Election Officer may appoint the employees of the Government of Nepal as Polling Officers.
(2) The polling officer appointed in accordance with sub-section (1) shall carry out all work related to the conduct of voting as prescribed by this Act and the rules made or issued under this Act in a clean, fair and independent manner.
(3) Other duties, duties and rights of the polling officer shall be as prescribed.
