Unauthorized occupation of polling station
(1) The polling station shall be deemed to be in unauthorized occupation in the following cases:-
(a) If someone uses force, shows intimidation or threats to take possession of the polling station or the place fixed for voting and influence the voting process, allows only voters who support a candidate to vote or does not allow other voters to vote,
(b) if any person intimidates a voter into voting or not voting in favor of any candidate, threatens, obstructs the way or means of voting, prevents him or her from entering a polling station or polling place, or
(c) If someone does not allow the polling officer or employee assigned to conduct the polling work to perform their duty, takes away the ballot paper, ballot box or voting related materials in his charge or by doing other similar actions, the polling process is not conducted in a fair and free manner or cannot be conducted in a normal manner. (2) In case of unauthorized occupation of the polling station in any manner mentioned in sub-section (1) sub-section (a), (b) or (c), the polling officer shall immediately suspend the polling and submit a report thereof to the election officer and the election officer to the commission immediately.
