(1) A candidate or an election representative may appoint a polling representative as prescribed for each polling station and a written notice of the appointment of a polling representative shall be given to the polling officer and the election officer.
(2) A candidate or an election representative may appoint a counting representative as specified to be present at the polling place, and a written notice of the appointment of a counting representative must be given to the election officer.
(3) The candidate or the election representative may at any time cancel the polling representative appointed according to sub-section (1) or (2) and appoint another polling representative or counting representative.
(4) If another polling representative is appointed according to sub-section (3), the polling officer should be informed immediately and if another counting representative is appointed, the election officer should be informed immediately.
(5) It shall be the duty of the polling representative and the counting representative appointed under sub-section (1) or (2) to do the work mentioned to be done by the polling representative and the counting representative in accordance with this Act and the rules made under this Act.
(6) The number and qualifications of voting representatives and counting representatives shall be as prescribed.
