Section 15
TERMINATION OR CONTINUATION OF ARBITRATION PROCEEDINGS
Except as otherwise provided by the parties, arbitration proceedings shall be terminated or continued in the following cases: –
(a) If the claimant does not submit the claim within the time limit as per sub-section (1) of section 14, the work of the arbitrator will be terminated.
(b) Even if the counterclaim is not submitted within the time limit of sub-section (2) of section 14, the party who does not submit a counterclaim shall not be deemed to have accepted the plaintiff's claim and the arbitrator shall continue his proceedings in order to evaluate the claimant's claim and the evidence submitted to confirm the claim.
(c) If no party is present during the hearing scheduled by the arbitrator or if no written evidence is filed, the arbitrator may make a decision based on the evidence presented and a copy of such decision shall also be sent to the non-responding party.
