Section 78
Determining the appropriate time
When determining the appropriate time for presenting a negotiable document for the purpose of signature or payment, giving notice of dishonor and making it appear that the dishonor has been dishonoured, it should be determined keeping in mind the nature of the document and the behavior generally adopted in relation to such type of negotiable document. Public holidays will not be counted while calculating that Sayam.
