(1) Nominated members of the committee may be removed in the following cases:-
(a) If he is absent from more than three consecutive meetings without notice,
(b) if he fails to discharge his duties in good faith,
(c) If he lacks working capacity,
(d) If he is found smoking and consuming tobacco in a public place,
(e) If he is found to be directly or indirectly involved in activities related to the production, export, importation and sale and distribution of tobacco products.
(2) According to sub-rule (1), before any member is removed from office, he shall be given reasonable opportunity to present his justification.
