(1) A health institution should identify the cause of death if someone dies while undergoing treatment in its health institution. (2) In order to identify the cause of death according to sub-rule (1), the health institution may take expert opinion, consultation and report.
(3) A written record of the cause of death identified on the basis of the report as per sub-rule (2): shall be kept by the concerned institution.
