“(1) Rule 19 b. There will be a compensation committee consisting of the following members to determine the compensation as per: (a) Chief District Officer and Chairman (b) Representative appointed by the military base in the case of Kathmandu, Bhaktapur and Lalitpur districts and in the case of other districts, the local head of the Nepali Army as a member (c) District Police Head of Office La Member (d) Head of Customs Office or Head of any office under the Ministry of Finance located in a district where there is no such office and member. (2) The compensation determination committee shall determine the compensation amount after examining the condition and value of the arms and ammunitions that have been filed and send it to the Ministry of Home Affairs.
(3) A person who is not satisfied with the compensation determined by the Compensation Determination Committee may appeal to the Government of Nepal within 35 days from the date of receiving the notification that the compensation has been determined, and the decision of the Government of Nepal shall be final.
