(1) The district court shall have the authority to initiate and dispose of cases related to offenses punishable under this Act.
(2) In accordance with sub-section (1), the district court shall adopt the procedures and exercise its powers in accordance with the Special Courts Act, 2059 when dealing with cases under this Act. (3) The decision made by the chief district officer in accordance with sub-section (1) shall be appealed to the High Court. p>
