(1) According to sub-section (2) of section 3, the court may order the cutting of the file of the case filed on the subject of the dispute that is wanted to be resolved by arbitration.
(2) Notwithstanding anything contained in sub-section (1), the court shall not make an order to cut off the proceedings in the following cases:-
(a) if it appears that arbitrable matters as well as non-arbitrable matters have to be decided, or
(b) If there is any reasonable cause for which the dispute cannot be settled by arbitration.
