of Section 50 of the Principal Act,-
(1) In sub-sections (1), (2) and (6), the words "by the same party" are substituted for the words "by that party".
(2) After sub-section (5) the following sub-sections (5A), (5B) and (5C) are added :- “(5A) During the inquiry and cross-examination under this section, any If the accused cross-examines any other accused, such co-accused can cross-examine the extent of the cross-examination.
(5b) If the co-accused who is polled according to sub-section (5a) is in custody for ordinary date, bond or remand, he shall be present before the judgment of the case and the accused who has been polled shall be given an opportunity to be cross-examined on the same date.
(5c) Notwithstanding anything contained in sub-sections (2), (3), (4), (5), (5A) and (5B), cross-examination in cases of coercion or coercive industry, human trafficking or trafficking and sexual violence No question can be asked about the morals or character of women."
(4) In sub-section (6) for the words "in the above sub-sections" the words "elsewhere in this section" shall be substituted.
