Instead of rule 54 of the original regulation, the following rule 54 has been placed:- “54. Provision of purchase by purchase order: When purchasing according to Rule 52, an order is made at one time for up to three thousand rupees in the case of village development committee and five thousand rupees in case of other local bodies, and whatever is above that, only through an approved purchase order.
