.Rule 61 of the original rules,- (1) In sub-rule (1) after the words 'acquired' the word 'foreign' is added.
(2) After sub-rule (1) the following sub-rules (1A) and (1B) are added. :-
“(1A.) Related to nominating a scholarship or quota received from any university located in the country or any study institute or faculty within it for any subject useful and necessary to the service, group, sub-group or for study at the expense of the Government of Nepal. Section 40B of the Act for the recommendation sent by the agency. If approved by the committee of sub-section (3), such civil servants can be given study leave throughout the study period. Civil servants who have received a scholarship from an international organization and have been selected in a global competition and have the opportunity to participate in study or training abroad with the prior approval of the Government of Nepal can be nominated in accordance with sub-rule (1) and given study leave for study and training for training."
(3) In sub-rule (5) after the words 'in private endeavor' the words 'at home and abroad' are added.
(4) after sub-rule (7) sub-rule (8) and (9) Added :-
(8) A civil servant who has taken study leave to study in an educational institution shall not be allowed to change that educational institution without prior approval. In this way, if he changes the educational institution or if he does not study in that educational institution, his study leave will be canceled automatically. The details of the cancellation of the leave shall be sent to the Ministry of General Administration and the Civil Library by the concerned body.
(9) Once the study leave has been approved for study in accordance with this rule, the period of the leave shall not be converted into a study leave. /p>
