Rule 25
Issuance of death certificate
: (1) If the information according to rule 24 is received, the staff assigned by the member organization, the relevant technician or the chairman of the group shall confirm the dead livestock as soon as possible and issue the death certificate of the dead livestock in the format as per Schedule-6.
(2) According to sub-rule (1) of rule 19, if the livestock that has been preserved at the place of purchase and sale dies on the way before reaching the destination, the preserver shall immediately give a written notice to the technician of the concerned animal service office or the technician recognized by the fund. After receiving such information, the concerned technician should go to the place where such livestock died as soon as possible and issue the death certificate of the dead livestock.
(3) In case of death of a donkey, horse, mare, horse or donkey on the daily walking route mentioned in clause (a) of rule 7, the technician of the nearest animal service office shall issue a death certificate of such dead livestock from that place.
(4) Before issuing the death certificate according to sub-rule (3), the relevant technician shall ascertain the cause of death of protected livestock due to natural calamity or attack by wild animals. In the case of protected livestock, a bond must be obtained from local residents including the president of such group.
