Section 22
Arrangements for compliance
(1) Regardless of what is written in the prevailing law, if the time limit is served in the name of a foreign person for an offense under this Act, if such person has any office or representative within Nepal, the time limit shall be served in the name of such office or representative and the time limit served in such manner shall be deemed to have been duly served. (2) ) If there is no office or representative as per sub-section (1), the principal place of business of such person or the address of his permanent residence or any address given by him for correspondence during the course of business, through telex, telefax or other means of telecommunication that may be recorded at such address or by registry The due date shall be served by post and the due date so served shall be deemed to have been duly served. (3) Notwithstanding anything contained in sub-section (1) or (2), separate provisions in any treaty to which the Government of Nepal or any treaty to which Nepal is a party shall be made to serve the due date in the name of a person residing abroad. If it has happened, this clause will not be considered as an obstacle to meet the deadline accordingly.
