(1) Torture shall not be inflicted on any person detained in connection with investigation, investigation or investigation or in any other manner. Explanation :- For the purpose of this sub-section, the word "in custody" includes the condition of being in custody under the prevailing law.

(2) When any person is detained And when leaving, as far as possible, the doctor in the government service and in case the doctor is not available, the concerned officer should check his physical condition and keep a record of it. Explanation :- For the purpose of this sub-section, "Physician" means a doctor in Government service, Kaviraj, Health Assistant, A.H.B. Or Vaidya should also be remembered.
(3) A copy of the report related to the examination of the physical or mental condition referred to in sub-section (2) shall be sent to the concerned district court.
