(1) According to Section 93 of the Act, the vehicle owner or manager who wants to operate the transport service by registering the name of the transport service shall submit an application to the department in the form of Schedule-47 along with the following documents and the fee as per Schedule-3:-
(a) Certificate of Citizenship of Proprietors, Partners or First Directors,
(b) Certificate of registration of vehicles under the transport service intended to be operated,
(c) Registration certificate, income tax registration certificate and tax exemption certificate if the transport service intended to be operated was previously operated under any other name,
(d) The charter and regulations of the transport service intended to be operated,
(E) Copy of the appointment given to the driver, operator and other employees as per Schedule-62 working under the transport service intended to be operated.
(2) In relation to the application submitted as per sub-rule (1), if the department deems it appropriate to register the name of such transport service and allow it to operate the transport service, it shall be subject to the Act and other provisions mentioned in this regulation, and shall register the transport service in the transport service registered book in the format as per Schedule-48. License to operate the service will be given.
