Rule 52
Insurance of employees working in transport services
: (1) When the owner or manager of a vehicle operating a transport service takes out accident insurance in accordance with section 149 of the Act, the death of the driver, operator, checker, helper, security personnel or other employees involved in the transport service due to a vehicle accident. , dismemberment and treatment for the amount mentioned in this rule should be insured.
(2) In case of insurance under sub-rule (1), an insurance of five lakh rupees should be taken for death.
(3) If a person mentioned in sub-rule (1) dies due to an accident involving a vehicle involved in the transport service, the owner or manager of such vehicle shall pay the expenses of each deceased person according to the custom of the deceased's work expenses, as amended by the second amendment. Twenty five thousand rupees will have to be provided immediately and such owner or manager can collect that amount from the insurance amount as per sub-rule (2).
(4) When insuring according to sub-rule (1), the following insurance shall be provided for disability:

(a) Actual medical expenses up to one lakh rupees,
(b) Medical expenses and miscellaneous expenses for the period of hospitalization at the rate of five hundred rupees per day for a maximum of thirty days.
