Rule 21
Travel disclaimer
(1) The department may issue a travel permit in the following cases:-
(a) If a Nepali citizen living abroad is unable to return to Nepal due to the loss or destruction of his passport and lack of time to obtain a passport, if he submits an application to the mission in the relevant country along with proof thereof,
(b) _ If there is no Nepalese delegation in the country where the passport is issued, if his family member submits an application to the department along with the recommendation of the concerned rural municipality or municipality and district administration office,
(c) If the refugee in Nepal receives approval from the Government of Nepal and applies to the department to travel abroad according to the recommendation of the Ministry of Home Affairs, (d) the refugee or other Nepali travel permit holder who has received a travel permit from the department and went on a foreign trip, re-travel permit stating that the period of the travel permit has expired. The mission in the relevant country with the recommendation of the Ministry of Home Affairs and if there is no mission in that country, if the notification is given to the nearest mission,
(e) If a foreign citizen of a country that does not have a diplomatic mission in Nepal or a country that does not issue a passport or travel permit even though it has a mission, submits an application to the department along with the police report of the lost or destroyed passport and other necessary evidence showing the reason why the passport is lost or destroyed. (C) _ If a citizen of a country that does not have a mission in Nepal or a country that does not issue a passport or travel permit even though it has a mission, applies to the department with the recommendation of the Ministry of Women, Children and Senior Citizens to take adopted sons or adopted daughters with them, (g) Nepali mothers and foreigners For a son or daughter born to a father to go to the country where the father resides, in the case of a minor son or daughter, a Nepali mother and in the case of a son or daughter who is of age, such son or daughter submits an application to the department along with the recommendation of the Ministry of Home Affairs.
(2) An application for a travel permit should be made in the format as per Schedule-2 and also attach the fee as per Schedule-4.
(3) In accordance with sub-rule (1) taken for making an application before the commissionAfter examining the application and the attached documents, if the procedure is successful, it should be sent to the department.
(4) Sub-rule: (1) After examining the application received under (3), if it is deemed appropriate to issue a travel permit to the applicant, the department will issue a travel permit that will be valid for a maximum of three years.
(5) "When examining the application according to sub-rule (4), if the travel permit cannot be issued due to lack of formalities or non-submission of necessary documents, the department shall inform the applicant of the same in the application. If the travel permit cannot be issued, the fee submitted with the application will not be returned.
