(1) The rate of contribution to be made by the listed employer on his own behalf or from the contributory's contributory income shall be as prescribed by the Ministry on the recommendation of the committee by publishing a notice in the Nepal Gazette.
(2) Based on the number of workers and self-employed persons participating in the social security scheme, inflation, the financial condition of the fund, the number of social security schemes, the ministry may increase or decrease the rate of contribution as per sub-section (1) on the recommendation of the committee by publishing a notice in the Nepal Gazette.
