If it is suspected that someone has published or is about to publish or reproduce any composition or sound recording contrary to section 25, if he files a complaint with the police officer who investigates the offense in accordance with this Act, the said police officer shall make necessary arrangements to prevent the sale and distribution of copies of such composition or sound recording and if necessary Copies of such compositions or recordings may be searched and seized according to the prevailing law.
(2) According to sub-section (1), when searching and confiscating, materials including machines used for publishing or reproducing copies of such compositions or sound recordings may also be confiscated.
