4. Objectives of the strategy

1 Control the illegal cultivation, production, transportation and sale of narcotic drugs and reduce related crimes. 2 Minimizing the use of drugs in risk groups 3. To increase easy and simple access of drug users to quality, reliable and trustworthy treatment and rehabilitation services. 4 To reduce the risk of infections such as HIV, hepatitis, BC, and sexually transmitted diseases among drug users, their families and communities. 5 To promote cooperation and partnership between various agencies by maintaining identity between various policies directly and indirectly related to the prevention and control of drug use. 6 Conduct periodic and basic surveys on the number, nature and effects of drug users.
