Rule 8
Formation of National Skill Test Committee

(1) A National Skill Testing Committee has been constituted as follows to carry out necessary work related to classification, testing and certification of skills:-
(a) Member – Secretary, Council – Chairman
(b) Dean of Tribhuvan University, Institute of Engineering Studies or such gazetted first class equivalent person designated by him – Member
(c) Joint Secretary, Ministry of Education and Sports – Member
(d) Joint Secretary, Examination and Recommendation Division, Public Service Commission - Member
(e) Director General, Urban Development and Building Department – ​​Member
(f) Director General, Labor and Employment Promotion Department – ​​Member
(g) Director General, Household and Small Industries Department – ​​Member
(h) President, Federation of Domestic and Small Industries – Member
(i) Chairman, Manpower Development Committee, Federation of Commerce and Industry – Member
(j) Chairman Construction Business Federation of Nepal – Member
(k) One member nominated by the examination committee from among the institutions providing vocational training at private level (l) Two members nominated by the council from among the trade unions and organizations of the workers (d) One member nominated by the examination committee from among employers or non-governmental organizations (m) One person nominated by the examination committee from among industrialists and persons directly related to industrial business - member
(n) Director, Skill Test Division, Council – Member – Secretary
(2) The term of office of the nominated members according to sub-rule (1) will be two years.
(3) If the examination committee deems it necessary, it may invite an expert or consultant to participate in the meeting of the examination committee as an observer.
(4) The Skill Test Division of the Council shall act as the Secretariat of the Test Committee.
