Rule 17
Validity period of passport
Unless there is a separate provision in this regulation about the validity period of passport, the following passports shall be issued for the following period:-
(a) Ordinary passports for ten years, or passports for minors under ten years of age will be valid only for five years from the date of issue.
(b) a maximum of ten years, taking into account the age, length of service and tenure of the person to whom the special passport is issued,
(c. 8 Diplomatic passport shall be issued for a maximum of ten years considering the age and tenure of the person to whom it is issued, but the term of the passport issued in the name of the person included in the tour group according to clauses (d) and (d) of rule 10 shall be a maximum of one year.
(d) A maximum of five years considering the age and tenure of the person to whom the diplomatic passport is issued in accordance with Rule 12, (e) A maximum of five years for service passports:
