(1) If there is an application from the land owner to register the land of a particular person for public purpose, a Latakatta Committee with the following chairman and members will be formed in each land office area to recommend the removal of that person's name from such land:-
(a) Head, Shipping Office, – Chairman
(b) Head, Surveyor Branch – Member
(c) Chairman of the village development committee or head of the municipality where the land is located or a member of the village development committee or municipality appointed by him - member
(2) The procedure related to the committee meeting as per sub-rule (1) shall be as determined by the said committee itself.
