Section 5
Cost estimate to be prepared
(1) The public body shall prepare cost estimate as prescribed for any purchase. But except in the case of construction work, there is no need to estimate the cost of purchasing up to one lakh rupees.
(2) The public body shall keep the cost estimate prepared as per sub-section (1) updated as prescribed.
