Section 47
Dividend declaration and distribution
(1) A bank or a financial institution shall obtain the approval of the National Bank before declaring and distributing dividends. (2) A bank or a financial institution shall pay all its initial expenses, losses incurred up to the previous year, capital determined by the National Bank, capital fund, possible loss arrangements and Section 44 Dividends shall not be declared or distributed to the shareholders until the amount to be allocated to the general reserve fund is completed and the shares allotted to the general public are fully sold and distributed.
