(1) If the industries registered before the commencement of the Act wish to be classified in accordance with the Act, they shall submit an application to the registration body in the format of Schedule-17, attaching the following documents and details:- (a) Decision of the board of directors regarding updating the classification of the above-mentioned industries,
(b) Audit report of previous financial year,
(c) Tax payment certificate of previous financial year,
(d) The full letter of the authorization, if given, and
(e) Details of documents confirming eligibility for the category in which the update is to be done.
(2) If it is found appropriate to classify the industry while examining the application received under sub-rule (1), within seven days: The classification of such industry shall be updated and the information thereof shall be given to the applicant.
