: (1) According to section 34 of the Act, if the goods are destroyed due to the fact that they are not of the prescribed standard or quality, or if the manufacturer or seller of the goods taken from the sample returns, does not take or refuses to take them, according to Schedule-8 Such item should be destroyed after preparing a bond in the form and keeping a record of it. (2) When any item is destroyed according to sub-rule (1), any part or part of such item cannot be reused or consumed, washed, pitted or burned on the ground or destroyed in such a way that it does not adversely affect public health or the environment.
(3) If an item is destroyed according to sub-rule (2), at the time of destruction of the item, one copy of the bond prepared according to sub-rule (1) shall be given to the producer or seller of the related item and the other copy shall be kept by the inspection officer.
