Rule 42
Formation of Ward Committee
(1) Within each village development committee or municipal area, a committee of the following members shall be formed after each ward:-
(a) A member of the village development committee or municipality selected from the respective ward in the local village development committee or municipality - chairman
(b) Two other literate eminent persons of the respective ward nominated by the land reform team after understanding the opinion of the people of the ward - member
(2) If any member of the ward committee does not fulfill his responsibility satisfactorily, the officer may remove him and appoint another person to that position.
